Hi can i claim compensation?

hi i orderd a bed out of the littlewoods catalouge with a mattress..the first night i slept in it i couldnt move the next morning.i had to go in to hospital abd stayed there for over a week i cannot sleep on a bed no more have to use a sofa or a chair..i was even on morphine then i found out i had 2 prolapsed disk and sufferd sciatica..ive had to leave my job cannot walk very far and cannot sit down for too long..im disabled now and its hard to get a job being disabled...does any 1 think ther is a claim at all?? thanx
