How do you mentally prepare yourself for a violent confrontation which you expect?

Picture the fight taking place in your head, and how you will react to anything that happens. Being ready for a fight is half the battle. Unexpected moves tend to catch the opponent off guard and can win fights. So learning some techniques to build some confidence, planning it out, and visualizing it in your head should do the trick.
