Would coming out as biual be less traumatic than coming out as fully gay/?

I think it could go either way, no pun intended. Like you said, you'd still be perceived as "half normal" but that could also pose a problem in that you're not straight enough for the straight folk and yet you're not gay enough for the gay folk, you know? Another thing, which I was met with myself, was that some people aren't going to take you seriously. My mother has said she doesn't "believe in" ity - she thinks anyone who is biual is either confused, in denial, or going through a phase. She also said something (way before anyone suspected) like, Oh, s will 'do' anything that walks. That kind of fuuucking irked me, but I figured that if I wanted her to accept my uality then I ought to forgive her ignorance. And then, I've never dealt with this personally, but it's been said that a lot of s are wary of girls - which I can't exactly blame them for, cause you know how some girls just say they are for attention. Overall, I would suggest just being honest. You'll likely feel better about it, and you won't have to worry about a "second coming" which people would also react to, and I don't mean that Jesus guy that's so popular. But that's just my two cents! Good luck in whatever you decide :)
