Why do people hate Staffordshire Bull Terriers so much?

Aww he is so cute. I don't blame breeds for being aggressive. It was human beings who bred them to be aggressive and saying all Staffies are aggressive is stereotyping. My granda has a dog that is 1/4 staffie and he has a nice temperment, most of the time, he doesn't like other dogs but that has nothing to do with his breed, its just that way he was raised.
