What should I and my family do?

I am a Seventh-day Adventist, and have a problem. My brother-in-law who abused be for the past years is starting to re-attend church. The last time I saw him he and another of his brothers aulted me and my wife--their sister. There is a TRO against him but the judge made a religious exemption for him to come to church. The church stance is he has a right to come and deal with it. I saw him lt week there and had a major panic attack as well as my kids did too(they saw the ault). No other SDA church for 40 miles. What to do?
