What does it mean?

Over the course of years, I have had a dream come back to me every now and then, this dream doesn't look like it takes place in the present time, more like the past it would seem, but I'm always the age I am when I dream it. In this dream the town or village that I'm at has a bear that always comes and attacks me. No one else in the villiage, a strange part is I always lock it in a restroom, then I go to an outside restrant of some sorts, it started out as a visit and now I'm workng there. The bear gets out of the restroom then walks through the resterant looking from side to side and then when it sees me it advances on me. The first time I dreampt this I ran from the bear, but now I just turn and start walking away. The villagers then all start talking like they just now see the bear, and so they get their weapons, and work together to kill the bear. What does this mean? and Why am I always calmer in the next dream?
