Run off the road, got license plate #, what can I do?

The other day I was traveling down a two-lane street. The street quickly merged into a one-lane road, and at that point the car behind me sped up and forced her way in front of me, forcing me to swerve off the road (unless I wanted to get hit by the side of her vehicle.) Now that I think about it, i wish i had let her hit me because then I could have called the cops and sued for reckless endangerment. Anyway, I beeped at her and she couldn't even look at me. I got her license plate number, but I know calling the police would be useless since she didn't actually hit me. I don't know if she was drunk, on drugs, or just plain stupid. Is there anything I can do with her license plate number to make her sorry she was driving recklessly and like a total ***&*^%?
