Loss of sight instantly but got it back?

I am 20 years old and I have two very small children I am a stay at home mom and college student. I was sitting in my living room with my children doing just fine then all of a sudden i had blindness in my left eye. It is not in the center like if i look straight forward i can see straight ahead but not none on the side its like i have a blind spot in my left eye!? Anyone ever have this before?? Please help it is really freaking me out! Note: I posted this question yesterday but I have gotten my eyesight back but I still have a headache with multiple vomiting episodes. What could this be? Was it just a mirgraine coming on that made me lose my sight or what? Thanks in advance.
