How long does it take for the court to approve/deny my request for excuse from jury duty?

I know that if they deny my request, I'll get a postcard sent telling me so, but I'm impatient, hate not knowing right now if it'll happen or not. I mailed my excuse on Monday. How long does it take for them to process my summons reply?
